Our Services

01

Initial Consultation & Design Review

We review your CAD files, STL files, or even hand sketches and recommend the optimal material, print orientation, and process for your application. We identify potential design issues before production begins, saving you time and cost.

02

Prototype-to-Production Scaling

Whether you need a single prototype or a full production run, we refine your design for manufacturability, establish repeatable workflows, and scale efficiently. Our 17-printer facility allows rapid capacity ramp-up without compromising quality or lead time.

03

Supply Chain Optimization Support

We help businesses reduce dependency on overseas parts suppliers by producing components domestically with fast turnaround. Our team evaluates your existing part portfolio and identifies consolidation opportunities to reduce lead times and inventory risk.

Your Questions, Answered

Materials & Capabilities:

We operate 17 production-grade FDM printers including Bambu Lab, Qidi, and Vision Miner 22IDEX platforms — enabling high-speed standard production and high-performance engineering-grade output.

Materials we print: — PLA — PETG — ABS — Nylon (Carbon Fiber reinforced) — Polycarbonate — PEEK — PEKK — Ultem (on request) just to name a few.

Industries served: Aerospace, Defense, Medical Device, Drone Manufacturing, Industrial Equipment

Can you handle small-batch as well as large-scale orders?

Absolutely. Our 17-printer facility is designed for flexibility. We run single prototype units the same day we receive an approved file, and we scale to multi-thousand unit production runs without retooling or lead time penalties. Whether you need one part tomorrow or 5,000 parts next month, we build the workflow around your timeline — not ours.

What is the typical timeline for a project?

Most prototypes are completed within 24 to 72 hours of file approval. Production runs typically move from design approval to first article inspection in 5 to 10 business days depending on complexity and volume. Every project gets a dedicated point of contact who provides proactive updates at every milestone — no chasing us for status reports.

How does billing work?

We issue itemized invoices detailing all materials, print time, labor, and finishing services. Standard terms are Net-30 for established business accounts. For first-time clients we typically require a 50% deposit with the balance due on delivery. We accept ACH, check, and major credit cards. Government purchase orders are welcome.

What file formats do you accept?

We accept STL, STEP, OBJ, and 3MF files. If you only have a sketch or sample part we can work with that too during the consultation phase.

What materials do you recommend for aerospace or high-temperature applications?

For high-temperature or structurally demanding applications we recommend PEEK, Ultem, or Carbon Fiber reinforced Nylon printed on our Vision Miner platform which is specifically designed for engineering-grade materials.

Are you registered for government contracting?

Yes. Veterans Plastic is actively pursuing SAM.gov registration and small business certifications including WOSB and VetCert. Contact us to discuss your procurement needs.
